Newbie to the site, but not to Mopars or performance. Had a '73 Charger in High School with a 70 383, a few 66 & 67 Dodge trucks, a 66 Coronet 500 with a 440, 71 Charger, now have an 04 quad cab ram that I swapped the 4.7 for a hemi, a 00 Intrepid that I swapped the 2.7 for a 3.2, a 90 Wrangler (technically a Mopar) that I am doing a ground up and 4.6 (6) stroker, not to mention the non-Mopars. And now for the newest addition..............................

68 Charger (building a 500 stroker):

Original 318 auto car, going black on black with black interior, 440 stroked to 500, 727 & 8 3/4 (for now). upgrading to discs in the front. Rear quarter are new. I am trading my stroked & blown 97 Camaro for it. Owner supplies all parts and I assemble it. The deal is that the body is smooth as glass in black before I trade. I always wanted a '69, but this one is hard to pass up. After looking closer at the '68 I am liking it better than '69 anyway.

Long Island RT

Welcome to the site!
Look forward to the build - it sorta reminds me of another one on here, except I have the more desirable 69  :D

It's nice to know a finished shell of a charger is worth that of what sounds to be a monster of a late model chebby.
When you say the owner supplies all parts, not including the motor, what kind of condition?  Especially the trim, grill and interior parts - That stuff will bite you in your wallet!

Good Luck  :2thumbs:
