Chris

hey guys

Can anyone tell me if the Fender turn signals/blinkers for a 71-72 Charger are the same as a 71 Challenger?

They're not even the same for '71 '72 chargers.

I'm on my phone so I can't post any pictures but 71s have flush mounted signals and 72s are not. 72-74 are the same.

I think he's talking about the chrome fender turn signals mounted on the top of the fenders, not the side markers.  The fender mounted turn signals are the same for 71-72 Chargers and 70-72 Challengers as far as I know.  I swapped ones from a Challenger to my 72 Charger and they were exactly the same.

71/72 fender mounts are chrome and are the same.  They mount from the bottom of the fender.  they are about 1 1/4" long and have 2 mounting holes.  plymouth's are different.  I also think the challenger ones were the same too, but not 100% sure.

The 73/74 fender mounts are different and were screwed in from the top and were the same ones put on anything with a pentastar on it.

Good info on this stuff.  I thought he was asking about side markers.

I hate to muddy the waters, but the parts books show two different numbers for '71 and '72.  As far as I know (in the real world), the actual parts are the same and e-bodies use the same one.  Pics attached.

Thanks Bob

As usual great source of information!
