Hey gang..
Ok,,, anyone have a source or experience with taking off the wiper arms on our beloved B-bodies WITHOUT messing up the paint on the cowl? I want to replace one of the arms on my Daytona with a better one....

Thanks in advance...

Yep. As long as its not weather seazed on there (which is highly unlikely on that particular car) that tool will make you life alot easier .

the propper tool is best , but can be done with a flat blade screwdriver , a towel or fender cover over the cowel , round the wiper shaft & lever !!  well not leaver exactly !! against a plastic bondo spreader layed on the cowel ,  becareful you dont damage the spring clip thingy on the arm

Mine were completely stuck / seized onto the pivots.
I dont want to scare you but I killed One wiper arm in the removal process and decided to cut the pivot on the other one before denting my cowl panel.

I'd rather buy new wiper arms and pivots then a cowl panel + replacement.
