an estimated 4 months was cut short to 69 days of hell for these chilean miners. all safe and sound after a 22 hour rescue! wow 69 days of thinking it was your last breath. 33 men got a second chance at life today and i bet they will live it up to every last second the good lord has provided them. may they all rest in peace with there loved ones tonight, knowing the whole entire world was pulling for them.

A happy ending for all the miners except for the idiot who, when asked who he wanted to be there at the site to greet him when he was brought to the surface, included his mistress along with his wife. Divorce proceedings are underway....

Ya i like how the wife decided to skip the ceremony and the side action was there to meet him.   ::)

But you cant blame the wife i suppose, she knew he was a cheater before but forgave him, then she finds out he's been banging this current one for 5 years...?..  She probably know's there is some real money involved now that he's out and she will get a piece of it and then split up..   :shruggy:

August 5th-22nd had to be the hard road as that was when they had to survive on whatever they were trapped with and had no contact with the surface. Since August 23rd they have had supplies sent down as needed and had contact with the surface.

Good they all made it out.  What a horrible thing to go thru for all those days. I heard the mining company wasnt gonna pay them for all the hours they were down there.

I guess the closest would go something like:

What did the miner say when he came out and saw his wife and mistress there? "I want to crawl into a hole and die"

But seriously...you guys see the pics of both the wife and the girlfriend? I wouldnt wanna come out for either one... :icon_smile_dissapprove:

Yup, I heard they made 48 hrs worth of food last 17 days. Good thing none of them were Americans. They'd be too fat to get into the escape pod. Although being stuck underground for a couple months is not a bad extreme diet idea now that I think about it. :scratchchin:

Ya i saw them, he'd be better off back in the mine rubbing one out on his own..
