Could be. Besides the rim change the only other thing I see is the tail stripe seems to have that slight angle back lean on the garage car and is off centered to the reflector where the 1988 car seems to be not leaning back and the reflector is red instead of orange like on the garage car?
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

The R/T SE I bought was found in Kansas somewhere. I am not sure where. The guy I bought it from was from Wisc. but said he found the body sitting on a farm in Kansas. It is a triple green 4 speed car with the AM 8 track. Do you maybe have the VIN of your Charger or maybe some more details of the options it had?

 Yep, green interior?

Daytona R/T SE

Ok, here's the story of my 69 RT SE:

I bought this car back in 1995 from a guy in Louisville Kentucky.

I had seen a for sale ad tacked to a guy's swap meet booth at the Mopar Nationals in Indy back in August '94.

I had forgotten all about it until early '95 when I found the piece of paper I had written the number on and said "What the

hell, I'll give the guy a call and see if he still has it"

He did.

I bought it.

For $1500. :coolgleamA:

It was partially disassembled, with no engine or tranny.

I loaded up the car and parts and went home, with the seller promising to come up with most of the missing parts.

A few weeks later I went back and he loaded up the back of my truck with a bunch of '69 charger parts.  :2thumbs:

As promised.

Good Guy.  :coolgleamA:

When I got the car it had orange fenders on the front, the grill was out of it, and the front of it's original hood was dented.

At some point it must have smacked something pretty good.

The engine and tranny were M.I.A. and remain so to this day.

Here's the breakdown of the car's DNA:

1969 Dodge Charger R/T SE

440, Automatic, console, 3.23 suregrip, power drum brakes. AM 8-track, A/C, power steering,14" Five spoke road wheels.

F-8 Green paint, black vinyl top, green interior, white R/T stripe.

When I first got the car it had the remnants of a dealer's sticker on the taillight panel.

It Read:

Don Schmid Dodge

Wichita, Kansas.

Here's a thread on what I've done to the car:

Needless to say I've deviated from the build sheet/fender tag a little.

well i am sure its not mine but its the twin to mine i am working on getting my id numbers to compare with you to see for sure. do you think the HP Kansas tag was the last time it was register what year was the tag sticker . :scratchchin:

Daytona R/T SE

I don't know what year the sticker was.  It's in a box around here...somewhere....  I'm curious to see what your VIN was...

I'm from the Wellington area. Don't remember seeing a green 69. I do see a red one from time to time.  The guy that runs the salvage yard down there is a mopar guy, he might know. His name is Ed.

Hemi24,
I guess the car I have is not your car. My '69 is a triple green, 4 speed R/T S.E., Track pak, Am 8 track, luggage rack, white R/T stripe car.

As I have mentioned a few times, triple green is one of my fav combos  :drool5:! Back in 98 had a friend at the Mopar nats looking for a 69 for me,call me and describe a trip green R/T SE white stripe for $13K in real nice shape, turn key car.I trusted his judgement and sad get info ,leave deposit and I would take it.When he went back next morning,it had been sold.So I was very close to owning a trip green R/T SE,then a couple months later ended up with my B5,white top R/T.Which,now that I have my top fav 69 , 3x9 R/T SE,the B5 car will be making its way out soon.
