Hi ..................I've been contemplating changing my wheels for a while now and keep putting it off.

I think the car is in need of a bit of contrast since it's so pale.

I want to keep it retro, maybe with a twist.

The current wheels are 16"....wouldn't mind increasing the diameter to say 17".

I also need to know what size wheel and tyre combo would best suit the car.

Many thanks in advance

nice car!

throw some suggestions of wheels out there and give me another shot with a little less angle and I'll photoshop wheels on for you so you can get a rough idea.

see this thread here to get the idea of what i'm talking about.  ;D

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Black centers or all black??

Don't happen to know optimum sizes do you?

That AR500 wheel come with a big rim for the rear.

don't know much about sizes cause i stuffed 295 15's on my rear.  :icon_smile_big:
we can search around on the site here later on and i bet we can find size combos.  i seem to remember some threads about this subject.
I'll do a couple renders with some black wheels later on when I get home from work.
I'll try to find a deeper dish to throw on the rear for the ar500.
in the mean time, here is everything you want to know about sizes and offsets for the American Racing 500 wheel

tried to do some last night but they weren't to my liking cause I couldn't find the right donor pictures to use.  I'll give it a whirl again.
