Rear end dilemma

Right, have a 70 charger, 360, 904, 8.25, 2.76 ratio. What i want is to put in a positraction and a different ratio diff, is it worth spending money on this 8.25 diff? Or should I fork out more money and get a complete new unit? As I live in New Zealand we can literally double the price by the time it has landed down here. Looking on the internet the strange dana 60 units seem to be good value for money, although is this an over kill? By the time I spend approx. $700 US on my 8.25, would I be better putting this money towards a complete new diff?

The 8 3/4 is great axle if you can find one, possibly get a b body housing and find a chunk from a truck?
