trying to take my daytona to the next level

Right on Rene.  If you're not upgrading stuff you're not driving enough.      A set of black steel wheels would make an awesome extra pair of shoes, besides enhancing the bad ass look.

What's the current plans for what shade you're painting it?

I always wanted to take mine to eastern Oregon & run it up to triple digits just for the experience.  Never got to.

i agree. i have that look on two of my cars.  so i'd like to go in a different direction with this car .

i have a set of 7 inch steelies  that i bought from a member on this board . the price was rite and he lived near by so i couldn't pass them buy .

i'd like to eventually go to bigger wheels like these . with the widest tires that i can stick in there .

firefox won't let me take the pic but here is the auction . real good price too . they would look great on the tona .

specially if i air ride the beast so i can control the height .

the plans have changed many times. I'm kinda leaning toward satan black with a gloss black wing and stripe . i know that Mike's car is like that . but i had discussed that color combo on this board a long time ago . before there was an angrier daytona . so i don't think Mike would mind . plus it's a different shade of flat black

we're running sat nite . 3,4 in the morning . 6 cars. we're partying tonite but we're here . 25 miles in between exits .

wow, what a let down the end of the weekend was .i think the first mistake was that we did it on  a sat nite , sunday morning . the road was busy. last time it was empty and several troopers. my top speed was 85mph. i had a trooper follow me for several miles but he didn't pull me over. my friend Matt got pulled over and got a ticket for 92mph . he was driving a new white challenger r/t.
driving 2 1/2 hours going up and then coming home was fun and seeing my buds that live up there was a blast.
i even had some steel wheels with 245 15 tires on the front . i wanted to try to hold her wide open and see what she would do .
