No driveshaft?

If I put fluid in the trans with no driveshaft/ slip yoke in place will it all just come running out the back and onto the floor?

mine never leaks with the slip yoke in!!

   I think the caps are for storage and if you leave the transmission attached and pull the engine. Sitting level as long as the seals are fine I wouldn't think it would leak.

Thanks for the info everyone. I've got a driveshaft and new u joints but need to take it up to the school to put them in.

I'll just wait till I do that to fill her up then. I'm guessing Even though it could sit and not spill out I will need the yoke for startup
