Hi my name is James I am a 34 year old Correctional Officer and I have been obsessed with Dodge Chargers since I was 6 years old and started watching The Dukes of Hazzard. As I got older I became less obsessed with the General Lee and more obsessed with Chargers in general (no pun intented). Now that I am grown and have a family a decent career and a large two car garage, I have began seriously looking at finally realizing my dream of owning one of these beatiful cars. I found this site and have enjoyed reading all the threads and soaking up the information. I expect this site to be a valubale resource when I start shopping.

If you want classic charger info you found the right place. I found the site almost 6 years maybe 7 years ago. I bought my current car in 2005.
I have spent hours here reading threads and learning. Ask a question and get real answers and opinions. Welcome James

Thanks for the welcome guys. I have tinkered off and on with cars for years. Mostly I have had Fox Body Mustang projects. I was thinking of getting another mustang as a project in my new garage, but decided to just keep saving and shoot for the stars and try to get what I always wanted. A 2nd generation Charger

Glad to have you around.  You'll never regret getting one of these cars.

PrisonHack

That is IF I ever get one LOL. But I plan too, My wife is onboard with the idea so that helps ::)

Welcome PH!

This forum IS Nirvana of all things 1st, 2nd and 3rd gen Chargers and really good people. You'll be surprised at the volume of help and opinions when you have a question.

Then there is our buddy Finn. You too will get to know brother Finn and his other car enthusiast friends. His photo abilities are greatly admired by much of the membership............and the guy is modest.

If the Mrs. is on the same page, your Charger is as good as in the garage! Be safe and get home every night or we'll yell at ya!

Hi PrisonHack, Ive only been on here since December last year but am well impressed with the knowledge and information ( and laughs ) that the members on here have. Chances are, that if your stuck in the middle of a project problem, most likely 3 or more people have done it before and put up a helpful thread and photos with it.

also of much interest to me is the pics from car shows in the U.S.A. , Canada and Europe and the South Pacific as well, there are some fantastic cars and projects out there.

You can go wrong with a Gen II 68 in my humble strongly biased opinion  ;D , incurring the wrath of the GenI & III guys  and great news that your wife is on board with it too , makes life a lot easier in the long run  :2thumbs:

 Bob T
