update, so I bought my steel and im getting ready to get the frame done up. I've pulled the front axel to invert it and put it on top. I have ground out all the rivets holding the cross members in so I can begine to mock it up.

progress pics.

ohh, went to a swap meet this weekend and picked up a great looking grill from a 30's something Buick.... $20..... SCORE! it's in much better shape then the chevys was.

ask and you shall recieve ;-)

The ECI Disk brake convertion was inexpensive and easy... I would recommend this option to anyone. The bracket kit costs $199...but I got mine with the truck ;-) all I had to do was buy Chevy camaro disks and calipers and brake pads... costs me a little over $100 :D

Having fun watching your project. Are you going to channel the cab or just rely on the Z? If you're taking suggestions, I vote for a mild channel.

heheh well, im acually going for the Z, Im 6' and well, the 2 inch chop made it a little cramped, if i channel and raise the floor, it may get a bit tough in there heheheh

however, that being said, the frame is NOT cut quite yet, could always change my mind ;)

of course, the Mopar ones are a bit more expensive.... maybe because the hub is custom made...

ya but its a Chevy truck so you're keeping it Chevy.

removed rear end, springs and shackles last night. As you can see where the perches where was all rotted, time to plan out the cuts and how i'm going to mount the cab and drop the frame.

Charger gets kicked out into the cold when im working on the rod, and she doesn't liek it one bit. It's getting cold out.
