Took the Dogs on a cruise today - w/video

As it was Saturday, and it's going to rain tomorrow, and my chores were done, and the dogs like going for car rides, it seemed like a good idea to take both German Shepherds out for a while in the '68 (which needed exercising also  ). For Roxy and Weiss a ride pretty much trumps all other activities. All windows were down so the critters could take in all the sights and drink in all the fresh air they wanted. It was also the first time I had them both in the car at the same time. I linked (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gki6R_LfNrs&feature=player_embedded) a short vid of them (and of me (sorry )...it is hard to record in the car without getting myself on the damn iphone  ).

I also posted a few "dogs in Charger" photos of my dogs for all you closet canine lovers.  

And on a side note just maybe this isn't the correct board to post this...maybe I'll be one of the few posters to have a thread re-directed to the "Charger Discussion" board.

Weiss....   The "Mr. Dog" comment was just a bit of playful banter.

Reminds me of good times taking Bear, Mark's Belgian Sheppard riding in my little truck...he didn't care where he went long as he went. Happy dogs and beautiful day for all!

Brought a smile to my face too,  , we load up are three labs in the van & take them into town for ice cream. Your are so right in that they do not care where they go, just as long as they get to go. Should take them in today for ice cream, Mocha wants to sit in my lap as I am driving, but I get her to just sit between the seats so I can pet her, poor R/T & Abby have to sit in the back.
