Bought some custommade stripes for my hood since the 440 numbers I have really doesn't
feel right having a stroker. They evidently have simularities with something that were available on
Dusters but now having recieved them I don't know anymore. I guess I thought they would have been equal for both sides or something. Do you think it would look weard?

I think it looks a little odd with how offset they are.  Another option would be to line up 500 stickers right across from each other.  Then cut the c.i.d.'s out individually and place them right after the 500 but REALLY close together.  Then it won't be so stretched out.  I hope you can picture what I'm trying to say...

The C.I. D is right under the 500. What about that?

I think I would just drop the CID and use the 500's like the 440 would be used.

Is it just me or are the digits in the 500 smaller on one end and bigger on the other?

I guess the reason for the CID is to not confuse with the 500 model, to state the engine is JUST RIGHT a 500 CID... so I don't think is a bad idea

HOWEVER I don't know what to say about, if I like or not. It must be some way to state the displacement in a pretty and armonic way.

Maybe on same size, not smaller, but diff color, just like magnum emblems on 3rd gens hoods

Not trying to hijack, but where do you get those decals?

I just thinking beaking off the green with something black would make a better look but maybe not. :scratchchin: Wouldn't like that decals gives a negative impression of the car.

I say put them on just like you have them laid out but put the CID a little closer together. You already have them so at least try them.

One thing about decals is they come off almost as easy as they go on.

IMO they are gaudy, way to large and would be a distraction to the overall car. I'm with 68X426 Per, as soon as the car fires up enough said.

Okay, I look at the photos, and tried to visal being there and looking at the whole car as if it was at car show of something. I have to be honest here Per, that color green and the black numbers just doesn't go togother to well man. Something about that color of green and the numbers looks strange in away so to speak.  I think I would let the engine do the talking like the others have said rather then the decals.

I do really like your car. You have been doing good work on it.  :2thumbs:

Darkman

I would rather the car without them, but if you really want to put them on, only put one on the drivers side and the other on your garage wall

C500

I don't mind them, just wouldn't put them on my car. I agree with a couple of comments earlier....make the 500's opposite each other, and have the CID letters much closer together, that will look much better.
