I was wondering if anyone here has built a custom nose to fit on there car trailer to protect it from rocks and stuff. I live down 20 miles of gravel road and I was thinking of making a removable front for my trailer. Any pic's or ideas would be great.

Wouldn't it be easier to buy the mud flaps for your truck?

you can buy rock guards as well for the trailer.
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Have mud flaps on but they dont catch everything. I would like to know of a good source for the rock guards. The only ones I have seen were home made and they looked that way. I guess shipping somethig like that wouldnt be worth it?. you could build it for the same. On the fence. Still looking thanks for the input guy's.

Nice! you know I have a old fuel tank in my yard that I have been looking at that might acomplish that same look.I was thinking of chopping it up and doing somethink like that. My fuel tank is just about as wide as my trailer also. Tank was free I think I will try it now that I saw that pic. Thanks man.
