I've been applying to places for a job for the last 2 years, granted a year of that I looked like a member of Hansen ( :smilielol:) but I finally got a job on the weekend. My main interest was getting one at a Chrysler dealer. I applied to a few but no luck. The one I didn't reply to (which happens to be closest to me) had a Mopar show on the weekend and I took my Duster to it. I was talking to the manager and asked him if he was hiring and he said he was and to come in first thing Monday morning. I just got back from the dealer and I have officially gotten a job. I start at 1pm today. I am a lot attendant which means I move cars and etc. Pretty much when I come in the morning, I gotta check to see if all the cars and nice and lined up straight, clean up the lot and the coolest thing is when someone buys a car, I take it to the detail center and detail it (which I love doing). Woooo! That does mean my Charger restoration is going to be re-started very soon :2thumbs:

Congrats Cody...I've been laid off for a week now and once you've been working for so long, it kinda gets to feeling kinda weird not going in like everybody else...

You know what - way back in 1956 a friend of my Father's started with a local GM dealership doing the exact same thing - 20 years later he owned the dealership and still does to this day.

Well done!
