Everybody talks about adding bigger valves to small block heads but with all the research I've done, people only have STORIES on how they perform.  I never see any real proof.  Well, my swirl port cast 302s now have a 1.88 intake and 1.60 exhaust.  Coupled with a closed combustion chamber, I can't wait to bolt them on and see what they really do.   :coolgleamA:

Sweeeeet!

I pick mine up Monday, had 2.02 intakes cut to 1.88 so I can backcut at a better angle. I gots to twirl around in the ports then final seat the valves then I have to convince myself to stop driving my truck long enough to get the engine done...

Right now I'm in the process of degreasing the block.  Once I get that sanded and painted, all the new parts come into play.

You need to at least gasket match your heads or you'll be missing 20 hp. Also if your heads have the little holes under the exhaust ports. Be sure to drill, tap and plus them. Your gaskets wont cover them and you'll have 8 leaks.

Intake and exhaust have already been matched.  Will be tapping those little holes this weekend.  :2thumbs:
