Gents,

I am looking to put a G3 Hemi in my 68 Charger.  Does anyone have some insight into where to purchase?  And any comments on 5.7 vs. 6.1, and carb vs. EFI?

Many thanks,

Darren

You can get it seems either from a salvage yard, I am researching this too, many many places have parts now for this conversion.  They now have stroker kits for the 5.7 (thanks alex).  tti, has headders, and mounts, also,  Street and Performance (thanks larry)  In addition, XV and others have, motors mostly 5.7 to sell, ready to roll.  Bullchillon (spelling) also has them ready to drop in, with parts and seemingly a good customer service.

www.thehemi.com has a page for this with many links to parts suppliers.

You will need for most apps. a gas tank with in the tank fuel pump.

Carb or efi, is to me a personal choice, I say go with efi, and I may plan to if I dont do the old school route.
