Awesome! BTW, the rallies look great on it  :yesnod: I dig old wagons, there's a '69 Belevdere Wagon, about 30 miles north of me for sale that I really dig, and the guy has installed a 440....might need that for a family hauler  :scratchchin:

I would love to put a few surf boards on the roof rack. Would make it look even cooler. Here are a few new pics I took the other day when I was lost up in the back country.

LOL, I am not really sure how I lucked out. I will say that as you see it. I am still into it less than $1300 right now. Thats counting shipping it to me from Seattle. I already turned down $2k for it. just out of curiosity, what do you guys estimate that its worth? It's just a 318, but its very strong. I added peddle dress up from a parts car I had. I also added a very nice tuff wheel and the car has disk brakes and an 8 3/4 rear. There are four small places with rust and a friend of mine who is a good fab worker is going to fix them for me in exchange for some work I did for him. I really do love this car. I am also trying to get rally mirrors for it. And wait till you see what else I bought. :) I will post some pics as soon as I make sure the items are secured.

Here are a few pics that I am playing a little with.

I am trying to do some artistic type pics.

Cool additions so far.  No doubt that's a clean wagon.

I sold my big block 9 pass. back in '03 for $2700 with these red cop wheels.  While I had it I run the TT's.

Got a buddy who does the surf board, complete with a picnic basket.

If you look at the bottom below the woodgrain you can see the faint ghost flames.

Hey all, I figured it's about time I share a few new pics of the old girl. I have now put 2k miles on it already. Kind of crazy if you ask me. Depending on what weekend MATS are next year, I was invited to drive it down with everyone. We'll see though. Anyway, heres a little wagon porn for ya'll.

Now that's the proper use of rubber on the wheels.  The hidden raised white lettering look nails it.  I can't remember, is that an A/C ride?

Good gravy, how many rolls of tint did it take?  Have you stayed in contact with the previous owner?

Tinting the glass & the wheels are great touches.  Your personalized look looks tits, good job.  :2thumbs:

It's pretty safe to say you've really enhanced the value.  No way that's a $400 impulse buy any longer.

Thanks for the comments guys. I really do love this ride. I am really thinking about drawing up a 40's style war plane pin up girl to put on the fenders under the coronet emblem. I think it would fit pretty good. lol

I really do want to mount a surf board on the top, but I need to pay a few bills and I want to get the headlights like Mr. Angry has for it before I spend the money on a board.

I have been keeping in contact with the orig owner a bit and sent him some pics just the other day. I haven't heard back yet. But he was pretty impressed last time.

The tint. lmao. Well, working at a dealership. We deal with a tint guy a lot and I also get him extra work. So he gave me a SCREAMING deal on it. I can't even say. But I will tell you it was less than half of what another place quoted me. $450.

No A/C as of yet, but I bumped into someone today (will get to him in a minute) that told me when I do my engine swap (5.2 magnum and 4spd auto) to use a vintage air setup. So I will look into that.

As for the value of the car, well. I would really like to get it appraised just for fun. But I really doubt it would be much. Today when I drove it to the peach days car show in Brigham city, UT (didn't put it in although I had several people ask why), I had several people taking pics of it wile I was driving. It gets so much attention.

Now to the Peach Days car show. Such a fun show, I would recommend it to anyone. There was over 1060 cars there this year and the quality of most of the cars was amazing. There where several magazine cars that I know of, several V code cars including a FJ5 4spd 70 Charger. And best of all, lots of good people. I ended up meeting Steve Hinckely who puts on the Hinckely Mopar show here in Utah and also has lots to do with MATS. We talked for over an hour about our cars. He has a beautiful 69 Polara that has been in MCG and is in Mopar enthusiast now. He wanted to see the wagon so we walked about three blocks each way to check it out. He told me I need to drive it down to MATS with everyone next year, so depending on the date. It may be in the parking lot at MATS next year. lol Anyway, the car is awesome to drive. I really would like to find a damaged bulge hood to graft together too, so if anyone has one. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know so we can hopefully work some kind of deal.

Do you get many big waves in Utah?

Only when you see someone you know. :)
