the air was really cool all day so the times were fast. their saying cloudy and a high of 80 sat and sunny and 81 sunday. ill get more pics of the racing and some of the show as the weekend goes on.

Well where to start today....

Got to the track, hung out with the MCG guys and gals, Mr. Norm's group, walked the show, swap and drag strip.

Then my friend Scott in his 70 Superbird allowed me to hop in for the Wing Car track time.  So I photographed and videoed almost the whole track time.  There is nothing like going into the banks of a Nascar track in a 70 Superbird!

After the show our little group headed to dinner and then the local Go-Kart track, which we ruled for 2 hours, until the manager came out and banned us all from the track.

So in all, a great day!

I saw it first on friday in union LOL   dealer installed  top but a real hemi 4 speed
and he had it our during the burn out contest , did two burnout saturday night at the hotel , sadly i only heard about it after and have no pictures

you got me in a couple of those specifically the one in front of the grand spaulding super stocker at the south oaks display that me in front of the car, that trailer was our hangout for the weekend.

How many cars' does this event pull in?

It's hard to say, someone probably knows exact numbers somewhere....but to give an idea.... it fills up the inside area of the circle track, some two cars deep in areas. then theres a car sale lot and swapmeet. Then the pits are jammed packed for the drag races.

there are some more threads on here with great pic's of monster mopar this year. it got to be a pretty huge event over the years.with the wing car reunion, and a very large all mopar racing field. 3 straight days of non stop action. the wing people got the time of their lives driving the oval.just an overall great weekend.dont have #'s for you, but there are guys on here that may have them.
