lots of possibilities there.good luck. if your not starting too soon, keep the leaves off the rear areas cuz they will hold moisture there and cause more damage.

Well it is a numbers matching 318 car so nothing to special but I'm going to keep all the parts the 318 was seized I pulled it and I am in the process of building up a motor home 440 engine I really wanted a 4 speed but the swap is a little to rich for my blood. I'm thinking about after all the body work I'm going to paint it gloss black with an r/t stripe without the r/t I'm going to build this charger into my dream not a complete stock restore

Here is a recent story about a 73 Charger restoration in Mopar Muscle magazine that you might find interesting.  The article talks about how the 73-74 Chargers don't get the respect they deserve. Good luck on the restoration.

jpsycoboy5, You will be fine. I am just glad to see other people that are willing to take on a challenge. Your car is along the lines of the type of cars I like to work on. Don't get me wrong I like to do spit and polish jobs too, but these jobs are always so much more rewarding (although more expensive) when finished. It's funny because at first alot of people will tell you that its not fixable or that you cant do it. I love proving them wrong and truly bringing a former piece of junk back to life. Once again good luck and I cant wait to see more!

haha i just have this terrible thing about me i can never buy anything that is in perfect condition ready to use haha i like having something to tinker with and fix i mean i wouldnt mind having a charger that was complete and ready to drive but i honestly don't think i'd have as much fun with it.  Funny you mention people will say its not fixable my entire family thinks i won't ever get this car done and that i should scrap it i plan to work on it the entire winter it took me almost a year for me to convince my dad i need to be able to keep it in the garage to work on it it snows like 6 months out of the year here

Your pretty Brave! When I found mine stripped and in a junkyard no one thought she's get back on the road either.
Now, folks ask if it's original... They don't even remember it being a basket case.  :shruggy:
