do we know that the canadian versions had the same door panels for that year?? probably of course, but the reason i asked is the 89 swift gti that i had was actually a 90 model in Germany, interior, exterior, motor, trans, everything the same except for the speedo

i know that canada is really just a redheaded step child of the usa and not a REAL different country like germany but.........

               The door scoops were installed by the previous owner sadly enough. Yeah it's incorrect for a 69 but it's not like I'm going to take them off and patch holes in the doors and repaint them.

Beautiful car!  And I'd have to agree with you, I'd have a hard time messing with that since it's in such good condtion.  I'd keep it as is too.  Good luck with the auction.
