The magazines just can't resist taking these female singers and playing major dress up with them. Seems like one day they're the girl next door and the next they're the working girl next door. I didn't recognize Kelly here on the cover of Blender, still don't. She looks like a cross between Allison Krauss and Billy Idol, not that I'm complaining or anything because she does look pretty good but I was just surprised at the major transformation. However I do think it's kind of sick when magazines like Movieline dress the underage actresses up like hookers. ...and she still is not very attractive.  Although that voice does make her a little "hotter"  It's actually pretty incredible.  AOL sometimes runs "unplugged" songs from various artists and I saw her doing some song and I was blown away.

A lot depends on what type of music she will be recording. If she's going country she wants to look like the beauty queen next door. If she's going to try her hand at rock she needs to look like a herion addict who would do anything for a fix.
