Ok so ive blown out 1 of my front shocks (dont ask how ;) Anyway am thinking KYB's also could go w/KONI
or Edelbrock but would like to here what's worked for you guy's would prefer a STIFF ride as My 73' tends to wallow in the turns. will also be adding sway bars in the future as I know the shock's can only do so much
thanks for your help                                                  Bryan :drive:

Thats a good question. I am in need of replacing mine as well. :popcrn:

Just 6T9 CHGR

Had KYB's and took them off because these NYC streets suck!

Went with a nice smooth set of Monroe-Matic's from www.rockauto.com at $11 each ;)

One of these days I'll get a set of hydraulic shocks for my Charger & it will be Koni. I put a set in my wife's Duster & they outlasted the car. She put over 100,000 miles on them & they made a big difference in handling. They're adjustable for firmness, & you can compensate for wear if you had to. I never touched the set in her car, & I have a set in my Scamp & love them. Years ago I put a set of Monroe gas shocks in my Satellite & I didn't notice much of a difference from the old, worn out ones that I took out. They might be more money, but it's one of those things I see as being worth the difference, like radial tires over bias ply tires.

One thing I will admit though, is that I did this comparison & installation over 10 years ago & don't know what may have improved since then. I would still take the chance & say the Konis would be good.
