I'm wondering what a NOS 68/69 Charger gas cap is worth, any ideas? Cheers, Tim.

20 Bucks.. I'll take it :)
JK, I've seen these things advertised for 3-4 hunge before but thought someone would have to be really concourse anal to pay those sort of dollars. Perhaps a #'s R/T Hemi car might deserve that sorta cash spent on it but for the average punter, a repro from PG Classics at $60-70 is certainly good enough.
I'd bet you would easily fetch $200-250 if you don't get too greedy....

Gotta love a '69

I'd buy a repro nice new and shiny for 100.00 anyday.

Me too but some guys MUST have NOS. :shruggy:

I got lucky on mine. Some guy had a 68 cap on his boat that was always stored inside and rarely used. Got it for $75.

NOS chrome parts are only good of they were stored in a low humidity environment. I have had many NOS chrome parts that has slight peppering from residual moisture getting into the boxes over the years.

Well that's a huge difference then. I'd be happy to sell all the used ones that I have for $25 each. The original question was about NOS.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.
