What's sad...is that car is very workable!!!

lee2

kinda makes you wonder if he would part with that "flying General".
Welcome to Hazzard County. They do things different here.

All the bird crap is sad to see.  :'(  The birds nest in the driver door isn't helping things either.  :RantExplode:

That Charger looks rust free, look at the floor pans!! No way this car belongs up on a pole to rot away  :flame:

TylerCharger69

I agree....He needs a good flogging or a caning

Brock Lee

Not so sure I would call that rust free. I suspect there is aftermarket undercoating hiding a whole lotta sin. Look at the huge hole in the pedals area. It looks like it was once patched with fiberglass and is falling apart.

mikesbbody

Regardless of its condition, I think it's a waste I'm sure there are parts that could be saved the grill looks good.  :Twocents:

from what i could see from the ground the bottom of the doors are rustytrunk floor eas replaced with a 2 piece at one time, front pans are toast, and you can see bondo on several panels

Nacho-RT74

too bad they were able to use a 69 Charger and not the right police patrol. Any Monaco/Fury would work for that, but definitivelly not a Dart.

why not the correct vectors ?

Probably with a large fork lift with long tines like yards use to move cars around :shruggy:

A Charger sitting next to a building on a pole is probably better for the chassis than sitting on the ground in someone's muddy backyard.

I agree that it seems kinda weird to hunt down a real '69 Charger and then use the wrong squad car.  You could probably find a rusty old no-drivetrain 75-78 Fury/Monaco for less money than the price of mounting it up in the air like that.

Bobby41909

Cool advertising...I'd stop by and take a look.

Great thread, thanks for the pictures. :2thumbs:
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.
