Did you try the place I posted in your last thread, or did you forget you started a thread before this one?   :icon_smile_big:

Auto King Radiator Exchange   (His name is Jim)
(973) 279-3592 875 Market St
Paterson, NJ 07513

I called him to make sure he's still there & he is. He also said Modine is not around anymore, & now in Mexico. I didn't ask if he has a website, but he's computerized & can look for the radiator. He'll be in in the morning & said he can make a radiator if he can't find one for a Charger because nothing is readily available like years ago. You'll have to call him with the details & see what he can do, but like I posted before, he's a decent guy & been there for 25 plus years that I know of.

I don't think halph the people working at any of those places know any thing about mopars all they care about is imports. the autozone in mentor has at least 5 imports sitting out side.

I have issues with finding one for my engine too.  The shop ordered three different ones that should have worked, but did not fit right.  The one in it is for a 426 with a small crack...engine is a 440.  So I may just go ahead and get the present one recored (found a place here that will) and go with it.  Not sure.

i just used a AFCO aluminum racing radiator. had to build brackets but it worked. cost me 149 bucks. bought it from the local racing shop. you can also order them from summit i think.

Khyron

welp. I called Auto King Radiator Exchange. He wants me to ship him my radiator thats in the car now or go to his place to make sure he builds the right one. can't quote me a figure on the phone. and it would take 5-11 days to build as long as he doesn't need any parts. I told him that the inlet and outlet need to be on the drivers side, but he still wants the radiator.

I'll have to think about this one.  :-\

Most 69's got driver's lower and passenger upper.  I'm thinking you're gonna have to change the upper hose to make something work.

I would agree with having to think about it, sending yours that is, but he is a decent guy who's been around for years if that helps. How soon are you looking to do this radiator? Is it holding you up from driving, or just a stage in the resto? Do you get downstate at all? I'm asking because if you do get down here he's located about 45 minutes from the NY & NJ border. He's not in the greatest of neighborhoods, but he's on a main road close to the highway.

I looked, he's 3 hours away, and it is keeping me from driving any long distances. th etemp climbs when I'm over 2000 RPM, and trust me, it's EXTREAMLY hard to keep it that low :(

I may just have to make a trip down there. after all. 6 hours out of my life isn't too bad.

Brian: yeah. I figured I can get a top hose from advances that will work. It's just th ebottem that has to be on the drivers side.

I installed a separate tranny cooler for about $45.

hemihead nc

I needed one for a 66 Charger that I'm working on, and the best I could do at Advance was on for a 70 B body.( 26 inch) It fit the car just fine, but the OE shrould wouldnt work, so I rigged a C boby shroud and all is right with the world. I think is was around $250 and it works fine with a 383 with A/C.

Khyron

WTF!?!?! those morons at advanced said they couldn't even get one.

do you have th epart number they ordered? SKU? anything? when did you order it?
