What a great old boat! Must be a blast to go out cruzin.  :yesnod:

Whats the engine in that baby?

Thanks, we enjoy it very much.  Its semi-displacement hull provides a very smooth ride.
It has period Crusader in it (GM 350 block).  They came with Chevy Crusaders, Buick Fireballs, Grey Marines (AMC 360? marine block) and 318's.  Big blocks take them past their hull-speed creating some very unpredictable characteristics.

Wife had me working in the yard all day. I'm glad the hardware store was open today.
Got done about 4, took a shower and started making dinner.

Dinner is ready to throw in the oven and now I'm too tired to eat.

I'm definitely going in the spa tonight.

I did get to work on my Charger yesterday.
Replaced Wiper switch in dash, replaced turn signal lights in dash with brighter led lights, installed air shocks and lastly a mechanical water temp gauge.
My short list is getting shorter.

I'm getting pumped about the cruise to Santa Cruise next weekend.

Had company all weekend  :pullinghair::...they left this morning :ricky:...got busy putting house back in order :buff:...had call from my man. Went up in Belvedere on a lift, adjust shifter cable...wasn't sure how high he was going to put me but was enough for him to walk under it. Doesn't look so high from the floor but MAN! It was a hoot! He got the trans put back together and does she sound sweet and can pull like crazy now. :coolgleamA: Got to sit in the passenger seat during a couple burn outs...sorry no picks...just a ticked off old lady down the street... :2thumbs:

Man, things went alittle cochide for me  :icon_smile_blackeye: . Friday I got hit by a bad a$$ rain storm in the evening as I was working on the lawn mower and trying to the throttle on it. Saturday I got up bright an early and started to work on the semi build to get afew things taken care of and then decided to check out afew online for alittle while. After that I notice it was mostly windy outside so I didn't do to much at all out side and with me being tired almost all last week I decided to lay back down and catch some Zs around 1:30PM and the next thing I know my friend Mark was yelling at me to wake up (I was setting on the.. wait for it.. wait for it.. sofa) at 9:30PM! He drop by to drop afew things off as he was headed home himself for the night.  Alittle while after he left I said heck with it and went back to bed . I got up Sunday fix the lawn mower and almost got it back togother.

Sounds familiar. I worked on the Charger and grilled some burgers. We had to search the house for enough change to buy a $2 package of buns. :rotz:

Took the week off to spend time with the family. I have done about the same, grilling and drinking and went for a little ride in the Charger. There are some things that need fixed, head lights & turn signals along with a horn that works would cut down on the stress of getting pulled over by the police.
I did order a radio delete faceplate off Ebay but otherwise have been cleaning the house\garage with the free time that pops up here and there.

Some remind me why i live in Minnesota again?..??   :brickwall:

Paul, I spent the weekend on a 28 foot sail boat on Leech Lake.  That was my first attempt at it, but the people we were with are masters.  I spent all the time I wanted at the helm and had a blast.  Thing happen so much more gracefully than power boats, and when you catch the wind and the sails fill it is a great feeling - once you get the hang of it.  I'd still rate myself as incompetent, but it was a lot of fun.

And in only a few months I can go back up there for the eelpout festival on the ice.  That's why we live in Minnesota.  Or it could be we're just not smart enough to know better.

Just got things done outside. I screwed the spindles onto our lower deck because the nails stopped holding some of them and I took our old sofa out to my aunt and uncle's place so they could throw it on the bonfire. Test drove the car since I had trouble last week. It ran fine, so I think my trouble was vapor lock. I think I need to remount my fuel pressure regulator. Otherwise I was just a lazy bum.

Well, my weekend was pretty good. I hung out at my grandparents on Friday night and Saturday. Came home late Saturday night and washed my Duster. Sunday I woke up and it was cloudy and supposed to drizzle but I headed out to a show in Aldergrove at a provincal park. It rained a little bit on the way to the show (barely- just sprinkled). It held out for the show though and then it got sunny as the show came to a close. After that I went back to my grandparents with the car and had dinner and found some cool places to take pictures of my car. Got home about 9:30pm. Yesterday it poured majorly so I stayed inside all day and cleaned up my room and played guitar.
