What's Everyone Doing for the Holiday Weekend?

I am headed out soon for the four day music festival near Yosemite, CA. Just around the corner from where I live, but it's worth driving hundreds of miles for the show that gets put on.

Called the Strawberry Music Festival, a few thousand cool folks attend (no muscle cars or bikes :'() but 4 days of great blues, roots, country rock, and bluegrass music.

What's up elsewhere?

Be safe and enjoy it all.

i'll most likely stay in the house as always.   ;D
maybe go take some photos somewhere. Earl is supposed to hit here on Saturday so maybe head to the coast prior to get some shots of the waves as long as it isn't too gloomy.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

I been to Camp Mather many many times but never for the Strawberry festival. You have a great time i wish i was going... but me and the old lady are goin to kirby's cove in the shadow of the golden gate bridge on the Marin side for an all day picnic. I got a 12 hour permit, so we can drive the car down packed with goodies and bar-B que halibut steaks, I'm making a salad tonight freezing all the refreashments, in fact i need to go shopping inna sec..
and I'm even planning to swim in the ocean for the first time in quite a while,.. 'n yes - in spite of the Great White sightings nearby recently...

If I had insurance on the Duster I'd say 3 car shows in 3 days but since I don't and I buy permits ($35 a day with coverage), I'm going to set up the new carb properly on it so the 4 barrel kicks in fully, clean the car spotless and then hit a car show on Monday

Not going to tear it apart till the fall driving season is over.  I have a restored grille and hood ready to go though.   :2thumbs:
