Nothing going on here.

I think we had more wind from the weathermen talking about it than anything else.

Amen to that... appears to not be much more than a heavy rain storm with a little wind at this point.

We rented an ocean front condo in Ocean City Md last week. Braced ourselves for the storm but it never amounted to anything. Hardly enough rain to even wet the parking lot. The ocean on the other hand was rough as hell. 2 drownings during the week and numerous broken back and neck injuries. My 8 year old son and I were on a walk along the beech late Wednesday night and had the pleasant experience of seeing the body of a missing person wash up on shore and no sooner after we walked up to it, it washed away again and that was the last we saw of it. Police had a search out for it. A bit on the creepy side but its amazing how many people ignored all the rip current warnings they had out all week especially with young kids.

Yup, bought 30 gallons of gas for the generator since they've been yakking about this ALL week. We barely got any rain here, I'm 20 miles from the coast. This morning our only local tv news (channel 9) was still talking about it.

I am farther in from the coast so same story here. Though we got some rain from a westerly cold front though. Cooled everything off, was an awesome day here today!

EARL as a joke.. It was another great media hype designed to get people to buy all of the bread & water in the stores...

Glad that's all you got...hurricanes aren't fun...NWFL here speaking from first hand knowledge...had twister drop in my neighbors backyard...broke all the trees in a circle...I had breakers...6-8 inches high in my pool...inground pool! No power for four days...but some folks went without power for more than 4 weeks.

All I had so far was a wind storm last Saturday that lasted all day. In the evenings it has been getting alittle nippy. We also had a good down pour the other day as well. But nothing bad though.. I live was in on the main land.. try northwest of PA.
