That's why when I drive to NYC I always park in a garage where you park the vehicle yourself. You can't trust parking attendants making minimum wage to not bang it up, or anyone depressed enough to throw themselves off a building & land on it.

The rear end of a Chagnum is not even a particularly soft thing you could land on.  Nor was the guy wearing any padding in his clothing like Batman or somebody would have.



Christ, 40 stories?  That's 400 vertical feet?  That's pretty insane to have survived.  The incident would've been interesting if he survived falling FOUR stories.

I like how they call it the "back windshield" instead of the back window or back lite.  I was reading the article the other day and they said he went thru the windshield and into the back seat and i thought, how the hell does that happen.?...??

For the same 3 reasons they come off for sex.

1)  You don't want them in your way like blankets in the summer.
2)  You wouldn't want to break them when things get crazy.  (Ever see the prices of some designer frames?)
3)  You would probably lose them for sure.

Caught something on T.V. once.  They said many jumpers build monuments to themselves with their license and credit cards etc before they jump.  Maybe the glasses thing is part of that.
