Girl wanted 69 charger

Hi everyone!

I know its a bit unusual that a girl is after 69 dodge charger but now I would love one, I find some charger in Usa, but its really difficult to get one from there, Im new to this site and I was hoping someone can point me to right direction for example how to get one what to look for, shipping companies and how to handle custom   etc.

Im after a road going car with preferably four speed,cose i couldnt use automatics. I dont know much about cars, and I would get her fixed up if she is not too bad.my budget would be around $16-20.000

I have a friend who lives in Holland, maybe I can get his shipper's information. I helped him ship two cars once before out of Galveston, Texas near Cypress/Houston (where I live)...

Hi Veronika. Welcome to a great site. I'm Swedish but live in Belgium and have imported many Mopars if you need assistance. Depending on the exchangerate you also might want to check websites overhere for a -69 although projectcars are more seldom available but adding shipping
and importtaxes that might equal a nice driver overhere.

Hi Veronika! Great taste in motor vehicles, Ducatti and now a Charger (even though it is the wrong year  ).

I just purchased a 68 Charger through an agent (which I will not name as I will not recommend them), but the shipping company I used to get the car to Australia is Schumacher Cargo Logistics and they have been great! I have been dealing with Joey Smit. All you will need to do is get the car to them, and they do the rest! Using and agent is highly recommended when overseas as they find the car, inspect it, purchase it, assist with the import approvals and get it to the shipping company. Some agents even organise that too. They do charge a fee, but they take the responsibility of getting you a legitimate car. Doing it yourself, you are open to a lot of scams with cars listed that don't even exist! So the agents fees could save you more in the long run

I would look on the internet and track down agents that will import cars from the US directly to your part of the world.

I'm Hungarian as well and have spent many days in Budapest for work.  I love the town, country, and people!   My grandparents came over in 1935 and my father was fluent in Hungarian when they were alive.  I hope you find your Charger and if you do need help in and around the Houston area, if I can be of assistance looking a car over for you just drop me a note.  I'm sure most other guys/glas on the forum would help you out as well.  It's a shame I can't smuggle the car onto my plane for you, shipping would be free!

Your story is almost a mirror immage of mine except it was my ex-wife that pretty much so did that along with some etc and then I had to sell the E-body 70 cuda I had around that time. Laster found and bought the Charger after the divorce and can now rub it on her face. Every once and a while when money gets tight she still tries to tell me that I should  sell it to help pay some of my bills. lol. Yeah like thats ever going to happen.

Good luck. I have been calling that # for weeks (have an older listing in Bakersfield Ca) and they never pick up and when it gets bumped to voice mail an automated message says that they haven't setup their mailbox yet.  

Let me know if you get through. Maybe it's just me they don't like.   I have sent emails and called dozens of folks and never hear anything back. It's frustrating.   No one wants my money

i was thinking about grinding the numbers down but they check it against u.s databases if it's legal or stolen!what if i comes back that someone is having that  engine which is suppos to be in mine!why do they change the engines by the way?i thought v8 are indistractable:)

  The first charger I got had the original V-8 (383). The motor was seized. I took it apart and discovered one rod torn off the crankshaft and another rod ripped out of the piston on the same lobe of the crank I wish I would have taken pictures. What I'm saying is, nothing lasts forever. Especially if you run the engine out of oil.
