A buddy of mine is looking at buying this Coronet and brining it up to Canada.

Are those bumperettes and bars at the top of the bumper factory? He tells me this was made down there.

I would say yes, but I'm often wrong. I have the sales brochure and pics of a 1967 Mexican Coronet and they used the 67 Charger front end with the rotating headlights. The speedometer was in KPH, not MPH as ours are. You might want to check that as well.

Those guys down there did some strange things with these cars.

That Charger grille looks awesome on a Coronet! Also has '68 side markers on it too.

It's not a bad looking car, it's in nice shape.

First thing I thought of with the bumpers, is "taxicab" looking.

Bumper guards like those and bars/pipes are very tipical to found at least in lot of Venezuelan 60/70 cars... They are added on, brand is SUPERTOPS or something like that.
Venezuelan RT 74 400 4bbl, 727, 8.75 3.23 open. Now stroked with 440 crank and 3.55 SG. Here is the History and how is actually: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,7603.0/all.html

Looking at that car's bumpers makes "Lowrider" song go through my head....

Years ago in Mazatlan, I was amazed to see several 72-73? Darts with notchback rear windows....no pics though.
I also thought the third gen Ramchargers were awesome as well. Also saw a 66 Coronet down there, didn't have the Charger front though.
