Removed the paint and tons of filler from my fenders for the Challenger. I actually thought the fenders were perfect under that paint before I started but was I in for a surprise. :eek2:
The guy fixing this with filler must have been a real artist or? Is it normal to cover up a job like this?
When you know how the lines are on a challenger it must have been a huge amount of sanding that
filler before painting. :scratchchin: Hopefully AMD release their fenders very soon.

Doesn't look too bad as long as it's good solid weld with no porosity in it. You could put lead in it if you wanted to

OH CRAP!!! You guys don't know Per like I do, that dog won't hunt in his camp!  :o  Leading this would add 10 pounds to that fender!

I'm sure with the prices overhere per hour that buying a new fender for 500$ is cheaper then making this one perfect. Since there were some rust coming thru the paint on other places I just
couldn't trust the prepwork. The doors which also looked perfect had some serious rustissues under the paint. Also when you live here, having one in spare is never wrong.

I hate to say this but some guys can do body repairs with chicken wire, duct tape and beer cans that last longer than some "correct" repairs.

Don't worry. There's a reason I don't post many pictures of my work. Don't get me wrong, I do decent work... after the 3rd or 4th attempt.
