Cool that it is being built, I just do not like the new mustang. Grill is too short and slanted. The back end is terrible, the lights thing.....guess its not my thing. I like the look of the first years they came out with the throw back ones a lot better

There certainly aren't many late model Mustangs down my way in Western Australia but what I have seen, I like, Ford or not.

In fact there was this lil limited edition outside my shop the other day.
One of only 45 built I believe and only one in Oz.

And it's RHD to boot
Gotta love a '69

Just 6T9 CHGR

Wow WTF is that?!  Very cool!

That is probably the sweetest newer Mustang I have ever seen.  Thanks for posting the link.

After checking around, I do not think the wife would let me drop the cash on one.  A little pricey to say the least.

Still think that they are too small. A new Challenger has more room.

But it is a PONY CAR... its actually larger than the 71-73 stangs which were regarded as too large. I think your just getting too old. :nana:

As opposed top what A Porker 4150 LB Challenger? Hate to say it, but Dodge has it in styling, but the Mustang has it in Weight and performance. Ease of Engine mods (PLENTY of room under hood for Blowers)...

Sure, why not, they are a sweet looking car.  Personally, I would take that silver Mustang pictured over any Challenger I have seen.

I agree...I like the performance numbers, but my biggest problem isn't that it's a Ford or a Mustang...is that it's ugly. Looks like an overgrown Hyundai Tiburon.

But I still maintain that no matter how much HP it's making, whenever I think of Mustangs I will always associate them with giddy teenage girls and middle aged secretaries.

maybe its just because of my age group. I grew up in the 80's and 90's, and pretty much EVERY movie that had that scene where a bunch of rich/spoiled/popular/stuck up girls drive up and stop just to hassle to the geeky guy/girl protagonist before going on to a party or whatever it is they were gonna do, odds are it was a convertible Mustang. I've never gotten over that when it comes to those cars...

The male counterpart - the snobbish rich asshole  - always drove a Corvette or sometimes a Ferrari or Porsche. But usually a Corvette
