This is the first time I've ever seen one of these "on tv now" threads in time to actually turn on the show.  Guess I'll have to check it out...  For anyone who's interested, they'll be re-running it at midnight and 10:00pm Thursday.  (central time)  It's a cool show, but something about those 2 guys just creeps me out...

Genrally, thats the only tv I like watching. I like to learn about neat stuff like that. The Discovery channel, TLC, History channel, Food channel, Speed channel, Weather channel, CNN are about 85% of what I watch. The rest would be the local news, and SciFi channel only for Battlestar Galactica. Shows about sex, sexual relationships, murder, horror flicks, etc (about 90% of all tv now) I can't stand

Don't get me wrong......... I have my dark sex side ;) Just not durring prime time :rotz:

Did you guys see the episode where they tried to flip the Intrepid Taxicab over using a jet engine? They only paid something like $400 for that car and it looked pretty good. In the end it just blew the bumper covers off.

Reminds me of my first week at the power company.  Now, you have to remember that ibew workers go strictly by the contract.  Heck, when it looked like a storm was brewing we would get out our union cards and try to catch one raindrop, then declare "inclement weather" and stop working.  Anyway, I digress.  They had a very neat little cement mixer on the back of a normal sized pickup.  I don't know how much it would mix, maybe a yard or so.  Anyway, a couple of employees had a load and at 5:00 they left -- day was over, right?  Well the cement hardened up and the supervisor must have been mad as heck.  Now this happened about a month or two before I started so I am just guessing.  What I saw was a little cement drum with thousands and thousands of hammer hits chipping that stuff out of there.  That thing looked like a big golf ball.

Reminds me of one other.  I had a mechanic working for me at a linen supply plant once and he had a beef with his girl friend.  She took a ball peen hammer when he wasn't home and hammered his car hundreds of times, through the vinyl roof and all over.  She virtually ruined a decent car in a half hour.  Kim

That's one of the greatest shows.   The guy with the beret and the huge moustache is creepy but the other guy is alright.

CaptMarvel

They thrashed a pretty decent shape 68(?) Fury a couple of times. Once they tried to pole vault it with a broken driveline & the next time they ran it into a cement road block divider at high speed. It was done then. I still cringe when I see that one...Why couldnt they find an old Caprice or Buick or Olds or something. Its not like they arent everywhere... :icon_smile_angry:

That redhead chick is smokin hot though. You can tell shes gonna hit the wall when she turns 40 harder than Earnhardt off turn 4 at Daytona, but right now shes hot.

Nah, just a little kid. They were exploring whether a handfull of circus ballons could float a kid away. It did, but it took about 4,000! Busted!
