I want to run

Hoosier street radials

and

Basset wheels

in this combination:

Front: 15 x 8 wheel with 27 x 10.50R-15LT

Back: 15 x 10 wheel with 29 x 12.50R-15LT

over 11" disc brakes all around

2 questions:

1. will the front fit diameter- wise
2. what offset do I need?

any knowledge appreciated!

For the rears... 0 offset is a good starting place...  aka: 5" backspace.   No guarantees... that's a fairly large tire.

Here's the specs from hoosier   http://www.hoosiertire.com/PrSPlist.pdf

Black Betty:  1969 Charger R/T - X9 440 six pack, TKO600 5 speed, 3.73 Dana 60.
Sinnamon:  1969 Charger R/T - T5 440, 727, 3.23 8 3/4 high school sweetheart.

I am pondering about this exact question myself. Just the same tires for my 69 with original drums all around. I am also considering a second option for the rear wheels, 31 x 12.50 R15. But I'm guessing that is probably a to big of a diameter.

But I wonder if 0 or 0.5 in offset is the right to use. 0 offset is 5.5 inch backspacing on a 10 inch rim (since a 10inch is in fact an 11inch, if measured from the outher lip of one side of the rim to the outher lip on the other side) It would not be necessary to take this into consideration if the backspacing was measured from the mounting pad to the inner side of the rim.
This is a study in itself which brands uses this method for measuring backspace and who doesn't. Does anyone know this?

For the front, I have no idea what backspacing would be correct. On an 8 inch wheel with the 27 x 10.50 R15. 4 or 4 1/4 or 4 1/2 ???  How can one measure this? And will a Hoosier 27 x 10.50 R15 even fit??
