Starter and/or Ignition Wiring Problem

I recently reinstalled my engine/trans after removing them, after reinstalling the wiring my car would not crank over, however all the lights/gauges worked inside the car and outside. I ended up determining it was the neutral safety switch (my connector doesn't match the switch on the trans so the wires weren't plugged in), so to test to see if the car would crank, I ended up grounding to another spot.

I am no wiring expert by any means, and I don't have much experience with these cars as it is my first time reassembling one, but now the car will crank whenever there is a power source. It seems there is constantly power going to the starter. If the battery is connected, and the key is in the "ON" position it will begin to crank over.

I can't figure out what's wrong, and it may be a completely simple solution or step that I am missing. I took some pictures of how my relay/starter etc is currently set up to see if there is anything obvious that I don't know about or am missing.

The engine is a 383 and a 727 trans. It is just the stock starter, and I never had a starting/electrical issue before I took the engine out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks everyone.

thick read at the bottom right of the starter relay thats just twisted round the terminal  , can't see where thats going !!  should go to the nutrual start switch on the trans !!
if your wiring is stock the conection that i have pointed to in red shoud go on there

tan top, he just fit the red wire to jump the NSS since he is getting some trouble with NSS plug underneath the car. It is grounded at brake booster stud.
