Anyone have any recommendations of places they used, or didn't like for that matter?
I have a list of places here and they all are around $100 for one plate $180 or so for both.
Thanks.

You could always do it yourself: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,70185.0.html

Other than that option you're probably going to pay $100+ for someone to do it for you. I assume we're talking original year of manufacture plates?

blast them, squirt them, and get a small paint roller for the raised part.  done! and will look brand new.  cost.. a couple hours and less than $20 in materials.
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

I redid my own plates for my Duster. I sanded them down, took the old inspection stickers off, primered them a few coats, then shot them in semi-gloss white. For the raised black parts, I used a black paint pen. These aren't street legal but they look good at shows.

I'm thinking most, if not all, plates used on our cars originally did not have reflective paint.

Yes, YOM is legal in NYS as long as the number/combination is available.  I have plates on my 67 but looking to have another set done. Usabeones are getting difficult to find.
Problem with this second set is one is perfect, the other looks as if it has been in an accident or I would do it my self.  Edges are bent and it needs to be streightened.  I'm not good at that and I don't want to make it worse.

I'm in Nebraska and they started reflective white plates in 1966.
