I scored some upper bumer supports I've been missing but I have two problems, 1) supports are bent (need to strighten) and 2) not sure what bumper bracket is supposed to be like. Here's what I mean:

Here' my bumper and (bent) supports, see how the bumper bracket kind of faces aft?

Now here's one from Carlisle and the bracket seems to be folder almost stright up and down? Before I go and Modify my bumper/rods...which way is right??

Thanks!

Bill that bumper looks like 73/74 kind, not 71/72

Nacho - possible but it had the provisions for the center emblem...thought that made it 71/72?
g211 - GREAT pic!...hmm maybe the rods are beent too much after all!

Any other shots?

Nacho-RT74

I wasn't saying it was a 73/74 but did look like it was on that area. Yes definitelly  the arrow provision makes it 71/72. Ok, then... we have ANOTHER POSIBLY a diff between 71 and 72 Bumpers ON THAT detail ? beside the slot to the J jack kind

not sure, but, I remember have seen a vertical plate WELDED into the bumper, where the fastener provision is, and brace with another shape to match vertically with the provision. I think the purple charger shows it so thats a 71 Charger.

So does this mean mine is a 71 bumper with a 72 grille?

So Tilars are for a '72 and the ones I have are for a '71? Why in the world would they do that....wait...it's 1970's MOPAR

Tilar, I'll swap ya' if you want, just mail your bumper up to Alaska!

Tilar

Umm, That would be a NO!   :smilielol:

Actually, I have some 1/2" cold roll, I could probably make a couple of those. Anyone know for sure what size rod that is?
