Way to go Joey.  Any hints on when we can expect to see it. :2thumbs:
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

He's on his way to the likes of Ahnold, Bruce, and Stallone...   :shruggy:

yeah but then you have to read this bit of self indulgent shameless self promotion...

"Joey Paul Gowdy (Tim) was born on Groundhog Day 1981 in Oxford and raised in Hickory Flat where he attended high school.

He started doing voice over work for video games in 1996 and was an extra in "Cookies Fortune" – the scene was cut and not credited. His first offial onsceen appearance was in the film "Ginger Snaps" in 1999 with Emily Perkins and Kris Lemche.

He has studied at the Acting Corps in NoHo with Ayla Kell, Cyd Schulte and Jason Vaughn in 2006. He also helped produce "Matter of Life and Death" with Joseph Mazzello, Rachael Leigh Cook, David Strathairn and Daniel Gillies in 2006. He also landed the role of an obese diabetic patient in House M.D. in 2007.

Gowdy continues to support independent films at the associate producer and executive producer levels".

I used to write copy and pres releases for the bands I was in so i know how this stuff works, they each wrote their own material to include but write as objective third parties to appear more "polished, official and accredited".
I like the part where he attended High school in hickory flat, that gives a down home just folks feel to the boiler plate, but that "at the associate producer and executive producer levels" just plain reeks of BS.
IMO.  :shruggy:

no, "Tim" is his character's name in the small independent film "Where I begin". Joey, you really need an editor, to pull your stuff together and tighten it all up, weeding out all the extraneous stuff. You got some acting, production and producer chops obviously - but need to only present your best side to the public. Focus man. Your light is all scattered and diffused.  Where was the editor when this was put together?.. You have much better photos by the way, like that one with the General.  :2thumbs:

Ya know, I'm in no way one to laugh at someone elses problems and the movie actually looks like it might be watchable, but this just struck me funny... From their web site:

QuoteSome sort of bad news....
Posted on August 19, 2010 by whereibeginmovie

Sometimes things work as planned – then sometimes they don't.

While filming at a local bar this weekend a crew member confused the switch next to the stove with the light switch – this simple act set off the fire suppression system in the kitchen. The equipment discharged sending chemicals all over the kitchen, putting out the pilot inside the stove, and shorting out equipment in the kitchen.

A day that been a success quickly turned into a tragedy.  The business owner is understanding and kind.  He is losing money everyday his kitchen is closed but has only asked that we pay to have kitchen cleaned and the damages repaired.  That cost: $4,000 which is a good chuck of our budget and well over our contingency plans.

To be honest, when I quickly read this thread title (except for the missing preposition...think of the movie "Murder by Death" and the linguistic prowess of Sidney Wang) I thought it was a tribute to the song and movie, "Love Story". Glad to see I was right....
