The trim on my rear glass doesn't seem to want to seal right. Does anyone have any tricks or tips to make this look good. Specifically, the lower left and right side corners.

Thanks in advance!

Whenever I have taken the trim off an old car, those corners always have some amount of butyl on the back. Some just a piece the size of wad of chewing gum, some were pressed into a wad that covered almost the entire back.

Are you talking inner (plastic) or outer? (chrome)

Outer chrome trim specifically the bottom left and right corners.

Make sure you don't have them swapped side to side, there is a left and right.
