Who sells a quality service manual? I have Hays-Hanes-or whatever the name is for the diesel and am not impressed. :RantExplode: This needs to cover the PT Cruiser.  Thanks

Aren't service manuals available through your dealer, or at least through a 3rd party online?  :shruggy: They charge nasty sums for them usually.

Factory Service Manual is the only way to go.  eBay, Craigslist, or Dealer.  I'd say around $20 to $40 for a used one.  The dealer will probably want around $150.

The upper selection is for a free owners manual.  Under it is a link to purchase the FSM.  I checked already at another dealer, and they are $150, like I said before.  I got a '69 Dodge FSM for $30, a '95 Neon FSM with supplement for $20 on Craigslist, and a '62 Cadillac FSM on eBay for around $20.  My local library has hundreds of FSMs available for checkout, and some for in library use only.

most FSMs you can download online, just have to google for a while.
