I've been out of the classic car game for far too long and I just happened to stumble upon this 1971 Charger for sale but I have no idea what the going prices for these cars are anymore.

The guy is asking $5000 CAD for the car although he is accepting offers.

Quote
I have a 71 dodge charger with a 340ci and a 904 torqueflight transmission.Rear end is a 8 3/4 limited slip with 3.23 gears. engine has work done to it. big block hood with hood pins, dual 2 1/2'' exhaust with 40 series flowmasters.. Rear tires are 295/50-15.Has big block hood and hood pins.Grant steering wheel.Under the car is solid.Good floors, frame and trunk. The body needs tlc.the passenger fender is off a 72 charger.(marker light is different) and it has bondo around the rear wheel wells and a few other spots.Interior is in good shape but could use some new carpet.

Car comes with lots of extra parts
-stock hood(in great shape)
-hide away head lights
-rally dash.
-bumperettes
-driver side grill
-stock radiator
-stock am radio
-front fender marker light
-1972 driver side fender
-lots of spare chrome pieces
-2 stocks steering wheels.(one is missing the center piece)
-front bumper(pretty sure its bent but sure how bad)
-stock 340ci valve covers
-2 passenger door windows

Under the hood upgrades
-4'' tall K&N air filter
-600cfm edelbrock carb
-edelbrock rpm air gap intake manifold
-edelbrock elite series valve covers
-Fully and recently rebuilt X heads
-3 core big block radiator
-MSD coil
-new fuel pump,alternator and battery
-dual 2 1/2'' exhaust with 40 series flowmasters

Car is fully drivable and would make a good winter project.Open to reasonable offers but within that price range.if you don't like the price please don't bother.

Quoteit has bondo in random spots like rite in the middle of the hood, couple of spots on the front fenders.as far as the frame and floors its solid.it doesnt have anything major wrong with it,just needs little things such as new clips for the windshield trim and shocks.the bondo around the wheel wells is the worst part.

If the car is roughly worth what he's asking I will go take a roadtrip and take a closer look.

That would certainly be very helpful Bronzy, thank you! Mainly the thing that worries me most is the cancer in the quarters and how badly the hood is.

I was talking to Ron (Chgr500) last weekend at a show in Port Coquitlam and he said he's seen that '71 around and it's pretty bondoed up....

I was thinking it looked good until I asked for more pictures and see the actual rust and such.
