This is a very rare 1968 Dodge Hemi Charger R/T. It is one of one known cars to have this color combination. Original Paint code EE1, dark blue metallic with white interior. It is a Canadian export car (one of nineteen). Special ordered. Total professional restoration was done over four years ago. Four-speed console car. Dana rear end. Motor is balanced and blueprinted. The motor is not numbers matching, but it is from another 1968 Hemi Charger. I have all the spec sheets and all of the receipts from restoration. Few modifications to the interior: FM radio with CD, gauges below dash, tachometer. I have owned the car for 6 years. This car is beautiful and worth well over $100,000.

I'm no expert but I haven't seen many non numbers matching hemi cars sell for 100k

That Charger is not found on the link in the Craigslist ad. But I guess you're asking if in '68 they (meaning us) actually know the color combo's that were built. I'd say no as the fire destroyed most of the records back in the day. The total exported is a known entity, though. The ad copy phrases the Hemi as "one of one" known...kind of disingenious. It definitely is a rare color combination, though. And I would take any '68 Hemi 4-speed Charger, just to be clear.

Bought my 68 RT from this guy.  He sold me the 440 car when he started on the Hemi car.  This car is on Ebay, too.  I was surprised to see it for sale.

In my search for a charger this summer I have seen several of those ads that push a link to a "carzone.com" site and NONE of the links ever resolve to ANYTHING. Even if you search the zone site you can't find a car matching the description. The sad part is the number of people who list cars and never bother to go back and validate that their ad actually works. Its almost funny if it weren't a waste of my time.  :hah: :hah: :eek2:

I think it is the typical for the hobby nature to break a car down until it is a "1 of 1" status. We all likely have a low number car when you start braking combination down. Some do it to pimp their product, some do it to try to sell a more desirable image to their car for the sake of status.
