Sleeping under the stars, roasting hot dogs over the campfire, getting handcuffed by a cop and shoved face-first onto the hot California freeway...

Dang idiots and I'm not reffering to the people in the van either but just the other.. as in the cars with the lights on them. Can't they tell a grand theft auto from a dang family outting? I mean come on, if it was grand theft auto you would think the person wouldn't be pulling over BUT rather high tailing it outta there and trying to loose the cops.

All of Southern California is simply insane.
(except of course for the forum members who are the smart ones and living there :pity: you are not the insane ones).

FYI, for those who haven't heard about this yet, the reason for all the fuss is that the van had plates from a stolen vehicle. Someone stole a car and swapped the plates onto this poor family's van before they loaded up to go camping... and were spotted by police. I have to assume the plates came off a similar kind of vehicle but who knows.

I bet from now on this family memorizes their plate numbers and takes a quick look at them pretty much every time they leave the house now.

I love some of the comments by readers.  :P  Wow most of those people have no love at all for the police, that is until they need one.  Huffington Post, I feel dirty now, off to the shower.
