Vega rear hatch

What year of Vega rear hatch is best to use for a plug on a  Daytona clone? I found a Vega with the rear hatch, its a 70-72. Is it worth picking up? Sorry no pictures of the hatch yet.

try to get the one with out the air louvered vents ?  they will still work but you would have to weld up the louvered sections .    If the glass isnt scratched and the chrome molding good maybe offer  a hundred bucks for it  !  or more if it the non louvered one

Look for years 74-77.  Also the Pontiac Astre was available, i believe, years 76-77 as well.  These years do not have the louvers and the hatch bottom edge doesn't have a dip in the center either.

Was not looking for 1 for myself, I just happen to have found this 1. thought someone here could use it. I looked it over, 73 with no louvers, exterior side not to bad, Interior side has some rust in the structure and around the glass, exterior window trim is there and nice.  glass so, so.
