I see wrong engine compartment and trunk finish. Whats up with the interior? I am going to San Diego in a couple of weeks. May decide to give it a look see. How is this price for a numbers 400 4 speed.

The interior looks like it may of been dyed. It was originally B5 Blue with matching blue interior, definitley a cool colour combo!

good point.. i know 73/74 were coupes (no rear windows).. i thought the 71/72's had rear windows though.

with an interior like that , whats the body going to be like   if the body checks out , paint could be better  , also  looks patchy &  stripey deacklid  
,   just needs a complete interior  going over ,    few odd bits missing
rare car im thinking  being a four speed , love them shape roadrunners though

If I were interested in that car, it would definitley be one to look at before buying that's for sure!

It's a California car. Should have no rust on it. I can only assume it was done by a Chevy guy/shop since they did the GM treatment under the hood and in the trunk. The interior looks like the guy tried to cover all the panels and dash with craft store vinyl. Cant tell what the seats are?

The NADA prices are surprising; $15,330 $22,785 $40,320.

the only thing i like is the color of it, i would pass.  I also like how he hadda cover the licence plate in one of the pics but in two others its blatantly obvious.

I agree. There a are a lot of small details when you really study the photos. Where are the heater controls? The car looks worked over and semi complete. The shiny paint lures you in, but what's under it, or in the engine? It just has the signs of being under-cared for.

72 RRs are the rarest of the B-bod RRs, around 7,000+, the vast majority were 400 cars, so this is not exceptionally rare.

I can see bondo specially in lower sections... you can see waves on "reflection"

nice water reservorir at a side of the batt ( sooo, hows the batt tray ? )

correct me if I'm wrong, but front parking lights shouldn't be clear ? I'm not sure about sorry. I know since some year some models were yellow and on other years some others were clear


plus what seller states being honest "It is missing the passenger arm wiper, parking brake cable, horn, gauge regulator"

"Must connect wiper arm to wiper motor (motor works fine)." wondering about the two speeds parking cam assembly!?


noticing the wrong ENGINE stuff ( alt brackest and valve covers ) and wondering if engine is the matching one or even a 400 LOL.

Very well maintained 1972 Plymouth Road Runner. where ? in Mexico ?
NEW Paint, body, decals.  All sheet metal, no bondo. yeah and the waves just born there
NTERIOR:  Very good condition. wondering if he knows what means VERY GOOD CONDITION

( just noticed wiper knob and ashtray are included on the deal )

THERE IS SOME STEERING PUMP AROUND ? I think it looks manual steering, but I think in all these years they were standard with powered steering... right ? not sure though
WRONG SPARK PLUG WIRES ROUTE, so missed brackets

 The paint doesn't look too bad in the photos but everything else that's been done to the car was done poorly!  Look closely at the photos. Very poor workmanship!!!!! The engine bay is a disgrace, and the interior . . . well . . . .
Personally I'd steer clear of that car unless you can buy it for next to nothing, then do a complete restoration on it, that's what it'll take for the car to be right.

I won't say run away from that car, but one thing needs to be told to the truth... needs a REAL resto. Its a nice car because the poor numbers and has been allways one of my fav ones, but consider spend NO LESS than around 10-12K$ on it to get a NICE local show conditions car.

after say that, you are the one to decide if worths what is the price on it

The car sold for $10200. It is more than I would want to pay. The sad thing is the guy spent a lot of money and probably a lot of time doing things to the car incorrectly. Cant really tell the quality of the paint job in just pictures, but the engine bay needs to be redone, interior totally redone, and probably paint and body done correctly.

I feel that is probably better to pay under $5000 for a car that needs what this car needs, and do it right. What does a total resto cost? Maybe $25 to $35,000 I would think.

If this was not a numbers car do it up however you like, but being a matching car it should be done back to stock, or as close as possible. That is just my opinion.
