And with a 440 Magnum. Looks fair but, it sure would be a quick little truck.   :icon_smile_big:
Of course once you get the oil leak fixed. Notice on the manifold.

is it just me or does the price seem steep?  i didnt see that it said the year of the 440, but if its just an overhauled later year with a better cam i think the engine is worth mabey what 1000 1500 by itself? add 500 tops if the trans is rebuildt. granted this isnt what one costs if your looking for it , but when somebodys trying to sell. the trucks clean but nothing special, with the 4 or 6 in it still its worth 1500 to 2000. so im saying 4 tops..am i on crack, or just a cheep azz? it is a kool title truck tho. there is a 97 in town that somebody has ditched the computer, nicely rewired , installed fuel cell, racing guages, nice floor shifter, really cool lookin wheels, but then droped the ball an stuck a 302 fo fo ferd (i just cant even say it) in the thing. its sat for 2 years now for 3000. it would have sold right away with a 360 i think, as i would have it lol. when i bought my charger last summer it was a choice of buy that dak an sell the 302 or buy the charger. dont regret my choice but it would be a cool toy.

I thought it was a little steep myself.  I would say $4k-$5k tops but, you never know.

custom work like that takes time. and money. you have to modify the frame to the correct tranny mount, engine mounts, shorten the driveshaft, change the rear end to something that will handle it. if you just take into account the price of the engine and tranny and the truck itself, yes, then its overpriced. but you have to consider just how much labor is into that, and he's probably bought it because the labor is done. and probably paid for it, which is something you are paying for in turn.

yes if you pay someone to build it it will be expensive. but the overall swap isnt complex. to me the fun of having something like this would be the do it yourself aspect. im just saying that to me it doesnt seem worth that much.

Id like to see that done to a 97 and up body style car. I like that body style so much better. Maybe someday someone will. :)

I like it but wouldn't pay that much, a guy I know built up a 360 with nitrous in his Dakota and had a blast with it.

You should see the guy who built a 340 in that body style.  :yesnod:
