'69 Charger 500 Option Questions???

I'm trying to get a few ideas on how my 500 clone will look but I've got a few questions about the options available.  On the '69 Charger 500..... was it available in all of the colors that the regular Charger was available in?  What color interiors were available.  Besides Red, White, and Black tail stripes, were there any other colors available.... was a stripe delete available?  And finally (for now at least) what hubcaps were available?  Thanks for your help guys!!!

Hey Justin..
The C500 cosmetics were in line with regular '69 Chargers/SE/R/T's.... Nothing special about the C500 package in terms of color combination. The cars as you know, just started life as a '69 Charger R/T platform and then converted... So, any of the wheel covers, hubcaps or road wheel options could be had. Interior-wise, they ranged from console / column autos with buddy seat to 4-on-the-floor or manual with console.. So, feel free to do it up any way you like...

NOW, if I'm in error anywhere here, I'm sure I'll be called out on it..  

EDIT: Any of the mid-year introductions were more than likely not available since all the C500's were built before Jan.01, 69.... So, like F6 green wouldn't be found on any tags unlike the Daytonas........

while not available, it does look good, and might be a good choice for a clone. I'm also building a 500 clone, and it will probaly be white with red stripe. Hopefully I'll be welding in my floor pans this weekend.

Also, stripes were only black, white, or red. No delete option, although all 500s show V88 "stripe delete" on the fender tags since they were added by Creative Industries.

The original owner of my (now Moparchris's) 500 said it did not have a stripe when he purchased it new.  It's a rather stripped 500, Hemi, 4speed, no console or buddy seat, drum brakes all around (non power? Help me on this, Chris) does have headrests, just AM radio, tinted windshield only, clock/tach, sport wheel and hood mounted turn signal indicators.  Besides the mandatory track pack and 3 speed wipers.

The window sticker for my old 500 said "stripe delete".  Would all 500 window stickers say stripe delete because they were coded V88?

I would think so, since the window sticker information transcribes how Hamtramck built the car.

F6 "technically" became available at the assembly plants in early November, prior to when they quit making C500's.  It might have been possible for an order to have been processed with the new body color, but chances are no customer or dealer would have had time to recognize the new color's availability and rush an order through in the 6 weeks or so left in the C500's run. 

Were any "sales bank" C500's made?  I'm guessing not, since Chrysler was losing their shorts on the cars and wouldn't have wanted to make any more than they absolutely had to do.

What I have envisioned in my head actually couldn't be built... just one small part.  But it will definitely be unique.  I want the car to be white with blue interior and a matching medium blue tail stripe.  I know the blue stripes never existed but I think it will compliment the sea of blue inside the car very nicely.  The second Charger that I ever owned was a 1968 plain-jane model.  It was originally white with blue interior and I thought that would have looked nice when it was new.  I haven't quite decided on the wheel/tires just yet but I am kinda thinking about mounting original full face hubcaps.  But who knows, I might get a little crazy with it and go for more of a NASCAR look.  The only thing keeping me from doing it is... to achieve the correct look, the wheel openings will have to be trimmed... which I'm not sure I want to do.  But who knows... I've got a little time before I make a final decision.

It's funny you mentioned those wheel covers... those are actually the same ones I planned on using.  I've always thought they looked good.

  thats why i'm gonna use them untill i can afford a set of recalls
