Here are few anecdotes from One Microsoft help-desk.

1. Good afternoon, I can't print any document. There is a message "Printer not found". Even after I put printer in front of computer, still the same message.

2. User: "I have a big problem. My college has installed screensaver on my PC and every time after I move mouse screensaver dissappear".

3. Helpdesk: "What kind of computer you have?"  User:" Hmmm, white one..."

4. Helpdesk "..You must click on My computer icon on the screen on the left.."
    User: "Your left or my left??"

5. Helpdesk:"..Now press F8 key.."
    User:"It's not working"
    Helpdesk "What exactly did you do?"
    User " I pressed F key eight times and nothing.."

6. Helpdesk "Microsoft helpdesk. How can I help you?"
    User "Hello. I'm waiting 4 hours for help. Can you tell me when can I expect somebody to help me"
    Helpdesk "Hmmm, I'm sorry but I don't understand what is your probelm"
    User "I was doing something in WORD and need some help. And I hit the Help button 4 hours ago, and up to now there is nobody to help me"

7. Helpdesk "Your password is lowercase a as apple, than uppercase V as Victor and than number 7"
    User "Is 7 lowercase or uppercase?"

8. User "My keyboard in not operational"
    Helpdesk " Is it connected to your computer?"
    User "I'm not sure, I can't see the back of computer"
    Helpdesk "Take the keyboard and go 10 steps backward"
    User "OK"
    Helpdesk "Does your keyboard moved with you"
    User "Yes"
    Helpdesk" Is there any other keyboard around?"
    User" Yes. Aahhhaa, this one is working!"

9. User "I can't get connection to internet"
    Helpdesk "Are you sure you have correct password"
    User " Yes I have used the same one as my college"
    Helpdesk "What is that password?"
    User " Five asterisk's"
